Need Changes

You need to change the print out for the Federal 1040 so You have a choice of what pages to print. Many times Schedule one through 6 have nothing on them and You have no choice but to print off six blank pages.

Very happy with program- had to call support this year waited around 39 minutes. A very knowledgeable and friendly women helped me.

Didn't work for me

I move from Iowa to Florida and the software forces your income from both states into one lump taxable sum. Florida doesn't charge income tax so there were obviously no deductions so I'm hit with huge fees.
The only way to change it is to manually put the entries into the fields of the forms, mail, and print. Therefore, the software was absolutely useless. I can download the forms and fill them out manually for free.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works OK, but MANY frustrations

Appears to work OK. E-filed Fed and State OK. BUT...
It obnoxiously prompts to up-sell and profit gouge at every opportunity.
Display will not adapt to Windows 10 Recommended screen resolution. Have to constantly switch back and forth when opening product.
Most screens will NOT allow COPY (CTL-C) function. Extremely frustrating.
I've used tax prep software every year since available under DOS. This is my worst experience.

I have used HRB for years and I guess I was a little complacent. Got to the end of my return and the program threw up an alert that I had not addressed my state sales tax. Went back, plugged in the numbers and just like that another $288 in my return :)
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Easy to use software

I user another major software for years until a couple years ago when they left some forms off the version I used. I started using H&R Block software at that time and have never gone back.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!
