LINE NUMBERS ARE INCORRECT IN THE BASIC PROGRAM ON 1040X IN THE EXEMPTION SECTION. IF I HADN'T KNOWN WHAT I WAS DOING IN THE FIRST PLACE I WOULD HAVE BEEN LOST!!

the software came through the mail at end of December and used it in early march 2019.Within a week I was satisfied and ready for E-Filed.

Software is clunky in comparison to the website. I pruchased the +state version and was welcome to the unpleasant surprise that I have to pay for e-file.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Problems With Form 8606

I found the review process painful. You directed us to review 8606 issues where there should have been none. Our total IRA holdings are large, but once you were told the amounts were OK you should not have continued to claim this was an issue. Then there were our address entries in these form that should have been automatically entered. Also the address entry panels were not clearly identified as to what went where so it took multiple guesses to figure out what was required. A continuing problem is the round off of the percentage of pretax contribution to IRAs. It does not include sufficient decimal places to be accurate for large IRA amounts.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

Has a flaw that costs taxpayer money

I have used H & R Block in past years. This year I owed a significant amount of money and chose to pay with a credit card. The program does not inform tax payer that there is a 2.49% charge on the amount owed in order to process the credit card charge. I filed my return and now want to change payment method and there is no way in the program to do this change.
