Easy to use, walked me through the steps and imported all of my information from last year and my financial institutions.
The only problem was getting a letter from the IRS telling me I had to verify my identity, I wish the program would have had me do that when all the information was available, now I have to look up all the information again.

Overall a good value and easy navigation. But when printing state forms, it defaults to double-sided printing. When I deselect that, it resets it back -- annoying. I had to save to PDF and print from that file.

I was unable to import tax info for my investments at Merrill Lynch. Also unable to import from OPM for my federal pension. I was unable to clear issues with my return even though I corrected the problems. Finally I was unable to e file and be accepted by the IRS without chatting to find a work around so the program would allow it to be accepted by the IRS.
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Software was adequate for basic return. Software could not handle minimum IRA distribution not taken and any related penalty. Had to manuall make correction and mail it in instead of online submission.
Pros: Fast
