I always use H&R Block. Great software. I will continue to use H&R Block.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I tried using TurboTax one or two years and didn't like it at all. I came back to H&R Block tax software because I find it much easier.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

A step backward...

I have been using your software to do my taxes for several years. The 2018 version is, by far, the worst version I have used! It is cumbersome to use, does not take you to the section of the program you wish to go, is virtually impossible to remove "!" from items and many other annoying features. And, yes, I did update the software at every opportunity provided. I may not use your software again. In case you didn't know, you do have competitors

Some Disappointments

I wish you would show the gross refund, not just the refund coming to me when I opt to apply a portion to the 2019 taxes. I did a lot of math to understand how the H&R program was handling the calculation. I had to make several changes and became confused whenever the program recalculated the refund. I've use the H&R program for years and never struggled with it as much as I did with the 2018 version.

Not being informed about possible convenience fees when paying with credit/debit card until after choosing that as your payment method, and then not being able to go back and choose a different payment method is quite frustrating and unfair.

Smooth, fast and easy!

This the third or fourth year I have used H & R Block Software and it has been very good. Had one hangup this 2018 year with the Schedule E during the final review when it kept asking for a property sale & royalty filler. I had neithr and could not get the software to respond and clear. Finally I deleted the Schedule E and all was well with the wrap up. I do like your software for its smooth operation.

Easy and Accurate

I've used H&R Block tax software for several years, ever since I switched from TurboTax, which wouldn't work with the dial-up internet I was using at the time. I find it easy and accurate, and a better value than TurboTax. I went back to TurboTax about 4 years ago and regretted it. I've stayed with H&R block ever since and have had no problems.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
