I liked it very much compared to other products on the market . I have tried others ,but this is good and complete, but disappointed I was charged extra to E file the state return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

It had all the features I needed and was user friendly, but ........, I bought the federal/state download and when it came for the state portion it wouldn't load at first and then charged my credit card like 6 times for it. I will be disputing the charges. I have always used HR BLOCK in the past and I will probably continue to do so since it probably one of the most trust worthy names in taxes.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Not happy I did the federal and the state not a word about the program needing updating. after I included my credit card number and everything and said file all of a sudden h&r Block pops up and says we need to update the federal and state return program! My state return changed. I just hope that this wasn't double filed. Never had this problem before. if there was a mandatory update h&r Block should have had me do it when I first started completing the forms not when everything was done.
Cons: Time consuming

This is my 7th or 8th year with H&R Block and well worth it. Complete and easy to use.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Easy To Use

I like the easy with which I can do our taxes. Very straight forward instructions and interviews. I especially like the ease of setting up payment of owed taxes.

Some changes need to be made.

A couple of issues:
1. The software does not handle my K-1 from a S corp that distributes gas royalties correctly. The interview questions are not clear, as the beginning questions deal with rental property. So I end up having to over-ride form values to get the correct values in the correct lines as our S-Corp accountant specified. Your software should be changed to just allow filling in a form in the software for entry of each field of the K-1 supplied by the accounting firm. Additionally, your software incorrectly copies K-1 information to my PA state return, whereas I have an RK-1 that again should be entered into your software field for field from the RK-1 information.
2. I have a son that is going to seminary in KY, so I need the KY state forms. But you only allow 1 state for state filing with Deluxe. But I can go and file his return on line at your site for free. But I have to re-enter his W-2 information from his part time job. Why give it for free on line but make me pay if I want to use the software I purchased? Please show more consideration for those like me that pay for your software and allow the simple download of multiple state forms.
