I have used H&R Block (and Taxcut before) for over 15 years. I am familiar with the structure and simplicity. I have never had any issues.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

I have this sent to me as soon as it becomes available on a CD and install it and am ready to do taxes right away when available. This program answers any questions I have every had.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I've been using the H &R Block software for 7 years after using other products. Very easy to use and understand. I trust the product and will continue to use it every year. Also, found the price of software very favorable.

This is my 12th year using this same software and it is simple to use and very accurate. It walks you through every possible tax issue you may have to handle, simply and easily.

Everything was going well until I got to the end and had some verification errors.There was no code for box 14 that matched my W2 for NY PFL so I selected OTHER but at the filing section I was forced to select something else. Apparently OTHER is not accepted (could have been from the State) so I had to choose from the codes listed on the screen. I'm sure this small omission caused me an hour of grief and I do not know if the one I finally picked will cause a problem. The recommendation to contact my employer does me no good on a Sunday afternoon.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Definitely a Money Saver!

This product got me the lowest tax owed. The input portion is easier to use than Turbo Tax, because there are fewer screens, but Turbo Tax is better at explaining why (for instance) I wasn't allowed to contribute to my ROTH IRA...H&R just said I couldn't, and the program wanted to add penalties for it instead of telling me why and how to undo the problem.

The 1099-R was hard to get to and I had to spend way to much time hunting it down.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
