Seemed harder to use than in the past

HRB Didn't like my screen settings even with 1920x1080. I have the text size set so I can read it but HRB doesn't seem to be attuned to even slight visual impairment.
Had some errors on input forms that should have been flagged at input but got clear to final filing before it registered a complaint. Then had to dig through multiple sources to find the problems.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I found the instructions to vague. After using turbotax for a long time I expected to be able to find answers to my questions by right clicking on the questionable value field. Instead of taking me to the source I would get a no help answer, such as not available.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

have used this program for years and so far, have not been dissatisfied. The "help" section could use a little tweeking for us older non-computer types who just want to go to a particular item and not a whole section.....Lots of "go back" button pushing.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does the Job OK

1) Many of the input fields are too short for the text that is required. 2) Work sheet printing wastes a lot of paper with short pages. 3) No guidance is presented for how to attach 1099 forms or W2's to the mail in returns. 4) Documentation guidance presented during the audit check is not printed out on the checklist. 5) Some of the forms documentation are not presented in the checklist (Exp> 8885 Health Care Tax Credit) 6) Options to print prepayment forms for Federal were not given (they were with the state). 7) No way to attach PDF files for the extra documentation that might be required to allow e-filing. E-filing and sending the support documents by mail is not reliable and can cause substantial delays in processing.

I’ve used H&R Block for my 2015, 2016 and 2018 federal and state tax returns. Each year, it’s getting easier and more comprehensive to use. The questions were laid out clearly and simple to understand. I was a Tax Turbo user for years before, however, it got so expensive because they started charging for extra forms and financial situations that I decided to try H&R Block. So happy I did.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
