Buying HR Block/Taxcut for years. Always easy, user friendly, and especially like the feature that calls up and enters previous info.

Tried H&R Block this year - does not seem quite as user-friendly as TurboTax. And also does not have the features of comparing your return to other tax filers like TurboTax does.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Federal good State not so much

Have been using your tax prep for years. This time your program stated I owed state money-----but-----when I put in all the calculations myself I owed nothing!!!!!!!!!!

Good for Federal - not so great for State

The Federal return interview was good but could have done better explaining 1099-Bs vs 1099-Rs vs 1099-DIVs. The MN state return needed more explanation for the Property Tax Refund for and instructions to pay online and send return separately.
Cons: Time consuming

We have used H & R Block Tax Cut for the last six years. It has made filing very simple and certainly saves us time and money in lieu of hiring a tax professional.
