Great for getting data from provides but limited

After you get all the data downloaded, you realize that the software
ADDs new entries for already existing income which you than have to delete. If a provider changes the entries AFTER you file a correct return, you are not able to file an amended return electronically. If you download the provider's new data, you get TWO copies of all of that data. What a mess.
It is not clear why a corrected set of data can be sent to the tax payer at the end of March after he has filed but the result is not good for the tax payer.

I have consistently used the HRB product for over ten years and can find no reason not to use the product. It is simple and intuitive to use. However, a good feature to have is a HRB encrypted cloud storage feature for free that is selectable by the user. That would be cool.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

H&R Block is easier to use than TT & costs less

You are FAR BETTER than T....Tax that I used for over a decade. H&R Block is MUCH easier to use, costs less and bend over backwards to help. They don't put commonly needed forms in their more expensive packages.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Prompts are straight-forward to most returns. Unfortunately, this software mischaracterized my pre-tax 403(b) rollover to Roth IRA. Checking my 1040 revealed this error. Took a few hours to find a hidden check-box on a worksheet outside the guided prompts to make the correction. Very frustrating.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
