The activation code for free E-filing, which was provided by your software, was not accepted when I submitted to file. I had to provide credit card information and will be charged. I was totally frustrated attempting to get technical support.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easier Than Ever

I've used the Deluxe yearly for about the last decade. It was easier and faster than ever. While I spent about 4 hours to prepare my return, including about 3 gathering and listing my deductions, all for nothing, with the IRS changes. Next year I should be able to complete my returns in about an hour with no pre-preparation.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use and Cost-effective

This my 5th year with H&R Block software. I have used both the Deluxe and the Rental Property versions in different years. Both were easy to use and understand. Iike the ease of use and the clear organization. I also like the accuracy check and the ease of filing. My only complaint is the cost of filing the state return.

I've been using H&R Block software since 2013 and I wouldn't think of using another product to prepare my/our taxes.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Very thorough software features

I started using the H&R Block tax software when it was called "TaxCut". I have remained with this tax software because of it's ease of use and it is very thorough in covering all of the tax issues.
