Extra Fees !!

After completing my return, the program would not accept my password, which had worked OK up until the filing process. I had to provide a credit card and pay to efile, which should have been included. Beware of H & R software, you will pay extra at the end!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

downloaded the online version. fast, easy cheap. have used tax cut for the past 10 yrs.

I have used this in the past, but this year - the return that was printed had omissions in completing state forms. I had to re-do and complete the forms that were left un-filled and it changed my tax liability...... A big problem!!!
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Been using H&R Block, and TaxCut before that for more than 20 years. My returns have been accurate, even passing an IRS audit one year (got help from H&R pro when I was contacted). H&R Block still is easy to use, and follows a logical sequence for answering questions about the data that I input to insure that I put the right numbers in the right places. Glad to be a long time customer.

Started return in February 2019. saved return, was able to pick it up where I stopped on March 28 2019. easy e file.

The area of Sched A Medical and Dental xpenses using your input form has been a problem for years. When itemizing it does not work for the line item you want. If you are going to put this in put all the line items to correspond to the inputs on your interview form.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
