Block continues to provide excellent tax programs.

I've been using H&R Block tax programs for years and am always reassured each year as my taxes are accepted by the IRS with no audits. One year I had to amend my return because of an error I made.
As for the 2018 program it was up to Block's standards and with one exception I had no trouble. The exception is one of emphasis regarding accrued interest. After entering interest from 1099s when I got to the page where it said in relatively small print to enter any other interest. I scanned over that and re-entered the same interest as well some other, making my total interest too high. Fortunately I go over the program several times and caught the error. My advice is to put that line concerning other interest in bold print. Thanks for continuing to provide quality tax programs.

Love this product, used Tax Act in the past. H&R Block Deluxe 2018 was straight forward and super easy to use. Will spread the word!

Clear step by step instructions, easy to electronic file. One free state program plus free federal efile are great--would like to see one free state efile next year!

I've found it easy to use and very intuitive. It pulls info from previous year saving lots of re-entry time.

Disappointed this year

After six years of using this software with no problems, this year's version was a nightmare. For example, it required answers to questions about our 1099-B (a breakdown of short and long term capital gains earnings) that was not provided on the 1099-B itself. It took hours of back and forth with our investment advisor to get the requested information.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
