It is better and more simple to use than Turbotax

I have been using HR Block Deluxe level of tax software for over 20 years. I used to try TurboTax a few times more than 20 years ago. It was very complicate to use then. So I have been using HR Block (used to be TaxCut) for all these years. For 2018 tax year, I want to compare to see if TurboTax has any significant improvement for ease to use or more friendly. NO! HR Block Deluxe 2018 still beats TurboTax 2018 Home and Business by far for ease of use.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Excellent Features and up-to-date tax law

I have been using H&R Block Deluxe since the early days of TaxCut. It is a breeze to move from year to year with the same software because it is smart enough to pull what it needs from prior years. I only wish it offered a screen-print feature :( I seem to think it did in prior years. Also, going back and changing a non-cash charity deduction to get it right was impossible. I had to delete the contribution and do it all again. I don't know where it picked up the "restricted use" but it was keeping me from e-filing. So I had to reduce the value of the deduction, then delete it entirely, and put it back in at the reduced value. This is still a mystery, but not worth stalling our return.

Great Product - It makes a complex task simple

I have been using this product for a number of years and I really like the way it works. I am not a financial/tax person and this program makes it very easy for me to step through this task every year and be confident I am doing it correctly. Recommend it highly.

Just finished state and federal in less than an hour. I have been using HRblock since 2014 and have no complaints.

Long time user- but this year's package was less user friendly.
My e file used to go straight to the IRS...
I just got an email from HR Block stating they will file it for me.
Not happy-

If you do the record keeping and data collection required for all federal and state tax returns, completing your returns with H&R Block Software is a breeze.
