Make complicated tax filing easier

Great Income Tax Program.

I am used this tax program for many years as a volunteer as well as for my person and professional use and love the ease of operation and the accuracy of this tax software.

i have used this software for years, generally satisfied. this year my irs return was rejected because one digit of 9 of a payers id was incorrect. because the same payer has been on the return forever i thought the code was copied over from the prior return. don't know why not, given the extent of data that is, or why copied incorrectly if it was.

Easy to Use

With the new tax laws in 2019, it was easy to add all deductions and switch back and forth between the new $12000 federal deduction and using my own deductions. For me, I also file in GA and while I ended up paying a bit more in Federal tax, I got back much more for State. Thank you H&R Block!

H&R BLOCK THE GREATEST

I HAVE USED H & R BLOCK SOFTWARE EVRY YEAR SINCE 2000 AND IT IS THE GREATEST. IT ASKED ALL THE QUESTIONS NECESSARY TO GET MY INCOME TAXES FILED WITH OUT A HITCH. I USED TUBROTAX BEFORE 2000.

Been using this product 3-4 years now, very user friendly and easy to follow, would have given it 5 stars this year, but had issue w/ authentication code that I needed to file it for free. Was not able to access customer support for help on trying to fix issue. Triple checked right code was entered and it was, but kept giving error message when I submitted for electronic file. First time His happened though.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Kept changing data at times in certain locations; had to correct several times over. Been a long time user never had this happen before.

Federal was great, State not quite

H&R Block advised that the State return must be filed electronically, but when I went to do so, it said because I opted for annualiozed return calculations, electronic wasn't possible, and I would have to submit paper forms, which H&R Block would print. However, when I clicked the "print for filing" button, it failed to print all the forms that the State required -- and I had to manually navigate to find the forms and manually print them.
Pros: Easy to prepare
