Confusing

I found too many parts of this to be confusing. I never could figure out how to fix some issues with the state return and thus could not e-file that return.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Used It Again This Year

Have been using H&R Block (TaxCut) for many years for my personal taxes. Have been very satisfied with the ease of use with a return that had fairly straight forward calculations (w-2's, 1099 DIV's, 1099 R's, etc.) However I had trouble with 2018 version handling imported data and royalty 1099 MISC documents. Instructions were not adequate for me to enter data in acceptable way. Kept getting Accuracy Alerts when checking return. Had great difficulty correcting errors.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

I like the way it guides you through the process. Makes doing the return easy. Also like the e filing provision. Also like the way you can go back and recheck your entries to make sure they are right.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I have been using H & R Block Tax Software for many years and could not ask for anything more thorough or as easy to use including downloading from Investment Firms, etc. directly into Tax Software.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
