State Tax E-File Not Included in Price

I bought the homeowners plus investors H&R Block deluxe plus state. The code includes a free FEDERAL E-File, but not a State. They are giving you a State PROGRAM included with the price, but not an E-File for the State. It's very misleading in my opinion. Is it worth the price? Yes. However, I would rather pay the full price of the federal and state and not have to use my credit card at the end in order to file my state E-File. I suppose you can mail a paper copy of the state return for free. I didn't want to do that, so I paid. But I suspect I could have if I wanted to.
Pros: Easy to import documents

I filed electronically for Federal taxes, but needed to print out the voucher and instructions for mailing the check. The program does not make this easy to do.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

Makes Filing Taxes Easy

I have used H&R Block software for many years. I never have to worry about what forms to file or how to process unusual documents.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Not so Deluxe

The software was easy to use. However, I purchased the Deluxe version which supposedly included 1 state return. When I attempted to file my returns, I had to include a credit card number for it to charge a fee for my state return!!
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

First year lots of info to load

Second year it all auto loads and is a breeze, I will not use another program. 3 years in a row we were audited by the IRS 2 years audit free

1040 ES

Filling out this form was very difficult. When I finished the HOLDEN report, $4400 taxes were due which should have prompted a 2019 1040-ES. No such prompt was made, so I went to the form and could not get it to calculate values, so I printed the four quarterly tax forms and filled in by hand to mail. You should also include a 1040-ES procedure for electronically transmitting quarterlies.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
