My Struggle

Using Windows 10, the program could not find my last year's return when I clicked on BROWSE-- it was backed up on a flash drive; I moved it to the Desktop & it couldn't find it there either. When I clicked BROWSE, it only listed a couple folders which of course, the return wasn't in. I had to key in all my 1099s from scratch the same one I had last year, which took a lot longer. Other than that it was OK.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

I didn't like the way that the form1040 printed. It wasted lots of paper.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Had error and was rejected, fixed error. Now it wants to charge again for filing.

Registration and Activation Codes Didn't work

Overall the software was average. I had trouble with my rental property entries. Plus the help menu mainly took you to the state website which wasn't always helpful. I'm disappointed overall. When I tried to file my Fed & State, the activation code didn't work and when I reentered what i thought was the correct code, it kept billing my credit card for my state charge!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
