Works great but it was a pain to get it to load on Windows XP but it did , then it was smooth sailing after that
Pros: Easy to prepare

Could not figure out how to skip filing an extension. The alerts "go To" button did nothing, and I never eliminated the alerts on my 1099s
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Difficult to follow especially the state return

So easy to use!

I've been using the H & R Block tax software for several years and have never had a problem. Any questions I had were answered within the program itself. It's very simple to understand and use is effortless. I usually finish my federal and state taxes in about 45 minutes to an hour. Very easy indeed!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Frustrating to Open & Close, Froze During Download

Opening and closing this software was very frustrating. The software icon sat in my tray, but when I clicked on it, the software would not open. I finally figured out I had to right click and then quit, then go to the Applications file, then click on the icon there to open the software. If I went straight to the Applications file, it would not open--had to quit from the tray first. Then closing was a similar frustration. The red exit button was greyed out. No way to just save and close. Just as opening took extra steps, so did closing--first minimize the software, then go to the software icon in the tray, right click and choose quit. THEN, the darn thing was in the tray when I rebooted--only I could not really use it--had to right click, quit and so forth as described above. Also, the form did not automatically save. AND, when downloading brokerage statements, twice, the software froze in the middle, yet really downloaded, but then when I opened the software again, it downloaded the same brokerage statement again. Had to proof very carefully to make sure I deleted the duplicates. Got the job done, but took way too much time to deal with the software. Will not buy again.

I HAVE USED THIS SYSTEMS FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS!!! I REALLY LIKED IT. IT IS VERY EASY TO FOLLOW
