I actually purchased this software back in November and finally got around to using it in the past month ((March). It went fast with no problems that were not self imposed. THANKS !!!

Pretty straight forward software that ask a bunch of questions you probably wouldn't think of on your own, with 'learn more' tips to give additional explanations of sections. It is pretty clear about what information it is looking for so you don't really feel lost. I bought this instead of paying and additional $10 for TurboTax which I was planning on buying. This definitely seemed to get the job done.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

61 pages of print on 1040. Do NOT print pages that do not have significant information. Program pretty much left me in the dark on K-1, Box 19 with codes I & L and box 20 with code T.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using HR Block for more years than I can recall. Always up to date with newest features and never had an issue with a return.

Difficult to navigate for the visually impaired

Being blind I have to use text to speech software, much text cannot be read by software and all buttons have cryptic labels that are meaningless when read aloud. Having said that, I have been able to successfully prepare my taxes using H&R Block for many years. I have found eFiling my taxes the most difficult part of the entire process
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Good software - BUT

I have 2 complaints:
1.There are no good instructions for how to file/pay Ohio School Taxes.
2. None of the SCREEN PRINTS work when finishing the E-filing (I've complaned about this for several years)

I feel that it slipped in performance over the past years. It seemed to be very legal in asking questions and seemed to ask redundant questions. Again it does not allow you to print 2-sided and all I wanted to print was my 1040 but I had to print 6 other pages. Waste of paper and ink. Also had problems trying to save my forms in Adobe.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare

I've been using H&R Block for several years, always great, and Efile puts my refund in the bank fast.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
