Great program

Makes doing your taxes easy. there is online help. I have been using H&R block for my taxes for years.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Easy to maneuver through, but a weird glitch

I have been using H&R Tax Cut just about since it came out. Easy to import tax information from the previous year, just walks you through every step. This year though, after doing my taxes, and 100% accuracy review, the program kept telling me that I had an elevated audit risk, and the listed reasons did not apply at all. Seeing that in red made me go back through four more times, and I could not find anything wrong. I could not find any online support, and I didn't want to call and start all over on the phone or go into an office. Since none of the situations listed applied, I won't worry about it, because H&R block offers audit support.
My taxes were super easy, also.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I’ve worked in finance for 33 years and this is the program I use to do my personal taxes. (And kids use Hrblock.com for theirs)

I have been using H&R Block's tax software for more years than I can remember. If there is an easier or more accurate way to prepare and file your taxes, I cannot imagine it. I have now turned my adult children to H&R Block software users, and was proud to see them doing their own returns this year instead of relying on non-CPA dad. Thanks, Block, for making it so easy.
