I switched to H and R Block about 5 years ago after a glitch with TT software that they couldn’t fix and it cost me lost $ on my return. I have never had any issues with HR software and is easy to navigate. Feel confident in filing my return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not allowing Merrill Lynch to download financial tax data directly from their website as in the past was very disappointing a d is making me consider looking at other programs for my 2016 tax returns

I bought this because TurboTax is trying to go to a subscription service and I wanted something or I could download the software onto my own computer. I appreciated the fact that everything from my past TurboTax returns could be imported perfectly.

i like using your software, i seem to trust it more than some other brands. But once again I asking for you to please make a version for Linux users. I had to rescue a Windows laptop that one of my granddaughters was getting rid. Your software is the only Windows software that I run. I don't like or want to run Windows! Please make a Linux .

My computer did not 'Save' the completed State return even after I saved the return. I feel like an idiot without a clue. I am hoping to not have an error that was submitted.

Did not import correct information from US Bank for Wealth Manage account. Told me I had an incorrect IRS pin that was on my IRS online account and lock me out. Because of this I was unable use your software to file online. That also cause not be able file Arizona because this I couldn't use the IRS online. So, I hard print both and mail them. Finding how to deal with IRS PIN was confusing. Now showing not filed.
I have used your software for years, this will probably the last time.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Once again block software caused havoc. Last year the software entered my stock sales and dividend twice I had to file amended to correct. On the amended I selected $3000 toward 2025 which despite having access to previous returns it didn’t pick up. IRS caught the error and is refunding I understand these were my mistakes I wish the software could have caught them
