Can't fill out Form #1116

It is impossible to fill out the form re Foreign Taxes paid. This has
frustrated me for years! The boxes for transferring info from K-1s
are blocked out, and the Interview doesn't help! Also, when I tried to read
what I had put on one of the Schedule D worksheets, through the Interview,the information didn't come up--only the top of the page appeared.

Foreign Tax Credit Missing

When the foreign tax credit exceeds the maximum, Form 1116 is not attached automatically. At least, there should be a notification that the credit was not applied and the form needs to be attached manually. This appears to have always been the case.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Great -- mostly

The program was user-friendly and flexible. It could stick to the basics but add worksheets, explanations and instructions where needed. I did however have a question relating to PA state tax that I couldn't get resolved with the program, and could not find the way to access HELP.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Great Tax Filing Software

I have used H&R Block Tax filing Services in the past and using their Tax Filing Software to e-file this year and last year, it is easy to use, instructions are clear, easy to follow, and it has a tax forms review, makes it error free and confirms to tax code.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Comfortable through filing process

4-12-19 As usual, HRB filing software for 2018 was smooth. This year making payment was not up to par. E-filing for FED and CAL State were accepted within a couple hours, YES! Now paying electronicly was disapointing. For reasons unknown, website would not accept my SSN. Diredtions on manual payment for Fed was clear, send voucher, put id on check, send it. Cal state was really awkward. No electronic payment options becasue I couldnt get past the FED payment. So manual payment. One set of instructions said send copies of state and Fed paperwork (ugh) with a State voucher and check? Another set of instruction with the state voucher said NOT to send state or fed returns with voucher and payment. I opted for the latter. Wish me luck

I BROUGHT SOFTWARE 2018 ,ONLY I HAVE PROBLEM ,MICHIGAN E-FILE SAME RETURN CHARGE ME 3 TIMES

Professional package

I have used this program for the past 5 years to do my Federal and State taxes. I have never had a problem and feel confident that my work is accurate and all deductions have been met with the program. Now if there was some way to avoid paying the needed taxes, I would be happy.
