Really - last minute update on QBI 04/03. I have to wait. Exceptions on data verifications are unclear. TaxCut should have all worksheets response validated instead of flagging as exceptions later in the program.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was disappointed that because I had a stock K1 form, the software would not let me submit my return via e-file and instead said I would have to print and mail it in. What was really upsetting was the line item #20 had no impact on my taxes. I got the message cannot file until software update but there was no date given when the update would occur, so I just had to wait and hope. Even this would of been OK if the update didn't happen so late - got it late last week. In the end, I finally got the update late last week and filed on 4-4. I have been a customer for a long time, but after this, I might consider other products (Turbotax or TaxAct).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This software is a big help. It's not perfect. I still couldn't submit my State Tax, Utah, electronically. I had to send in a check.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Too many glitches. The software kept asking me to verify 1099-R amounts but they were correct. The figure kept showing up as needing attention, I kept manually entering it, nothing fixed the supposed error. Then the IRS rejected the return because the payer and payer ID on that same 10999-R didn't match some records, so I entered that again and again. The odd part about that is there was no place on my return that mentioned the payer. I don't understand why I kept getting error messages for correct information, and it was very upsetting to have my return rejected as I have been e-filing for years.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great software, but need MI-6072

Great software; used for years; this year, it would have been very helpful for the software to support Michigan Form 6072 for Flow-Through Entities. I would appreciate you adding that for next year.
