H&R Block again a winner. I still hate reviews.

I bought this Deluxe version last week. I finished my and my sister's taxes. The only problem I had was an entry for a number on a 1099-R that wouldn't fit into the box provided. I didn't understand why the accuracy check fail until I printed out my return and saw the program had cut the number short. I corrected it. I will contact my investment company and ask why this number is presented as it is.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

Good But had a Problem

I've been using this software for years and it has always been excellent. I did have a problem with trying to use form 2210. I had an unusual income distribution this year. I tried using form 2210, but found the form and instructions impossible. The program would not let me submit electronically until I deleted the form. Need better instructions or a way to contact for help.

Ok - But Double Check the IRS Address

Overall ok in finding a few glitches. Imported 2024 taxes as a joint return, but filed as a single for 2025 due to my spouse passing away last year. The program kept indicating I had a penalty for my IRA distribution which should not have been the case. Some other glitches in moving from joint to single, and just started from scratch as single. Had some issues with paying federal taxes - like living in NC and IRS mailing address was identified as Austin, TX. I should have checked against the IRS website that indicates an address in Charlotte, NC. Small things like that make the product fair and not Great or Excellent.
