Some improvement could be made.

It would be so helpful if last years amounts were shown on each form. I also found section C section could be better, it didn't seem all together as a separate form.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

The H and R Block Tax software is simple to use and has great features to help a lay person to complete taxes forms.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

H R Block can do better than this. Way to much of my time was wasted answering questions about deductions that were never going to happen anyway.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

TurboTax doesn't understand Virginia Income Taxes

H&R Block allowed me to correctly file my Virginia Tax return while getting the maximum deductions allowed by the state. Turbo Tax was absolutely no help when filing my state taxes, and I had to go out and purchase H&R Block. Turbo Tax can be used to file a Federal Schedule H only if you already know how to file a Schedule H and what should go in all the blanks. H&R Block correctly walks you through and allows you to accurately file and pay your nanny taxes.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

Very Good Program, but support is limited

I have been using HRBlock Deluxe for 5 years. Handles all my needs - retirement income, electric car and solar panels. Could use better, more practical explanations. Got stuck in a Data Verification loop without a way to mark the fields as verified.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I received my H & R Block product in the mail which is my reminder to get taxes done. This software is easy to use and makes filing less aggravating. I'll never go back to the 'other' tax software again.
