It has always done an excellent job at making sure I received the most or paid the least required. It has only improved with time.

After completing the interview for Form 5329, the results didn't look right, so I went back to the IRS instructions and discovered the software had filled it out incorrectly. A later update at least put my numbers into the right boxes, but the error check failed because it was still based on the previous (incorrect) approach. As a result, I couldn't file electronically, and had to print out the form and mail it separately.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
