I believe this is my 10th or 11th year using the software for Windows first and MacOS now and find it easy to use , specially year after year to be able to import and also compare information.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

- 2024 edition: I had to file an extension, told me my state would automatically accept the federal extension; they didn't and I got penalizes for filing late
- 2025 edition: after the final 03April26 update, the program swapped some of the address data on the W-2s; hoping there weren't other problems that got missed

I have used this program for years and it just keeps getting better and better.
This year, however, there were three "carry over" items that got omitted that always were filled in automatically. I had to input last year's AGI as it was not already in the box. And I had to also put in last year's basis for an IRA I had, also that used to be automatic, and it also did not show automatically 2024 retained taxes, which I therefore overlooked and caused several letters from the IRS. Other than that, the program was great. I will just have to remember next year to check a little closer to those three items I mentioned.
