Pretty good software but lousy company.

I've used H&R Block products for years but this will be the last. HRB contributes to the United Way of Kansas City which supports Planned Parenthood. That's over the top!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have continued to use H&R software for years now. I very rarely have any problems in using their programs and I have never had a completed tax return rejected for anything but for my data entry errors. I have used other programs in the past but do not plan on ever again using anything but H&R software.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

My H&R Block

It was smooth and the Deduction Pro HR made all the donations to charity easy and smooth. The problem that I had was it didn't set up a 2019 quarterly payment schedule. I like the help they gave for saving your file for future reference
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

difficult to use

you have to down load there software to create a pdf of the records
you just cannot print a copy of the record or review what it looks like before sending it
the walk thoughts are weak on clarification
you cannot import the previous years return without having that years software installed.
it keeps directing you to get external information.

Great But....

This is the 2nd year that I have bought this same program. The ONLY problem I have is that for some reason I am getting rejected because of how my dependents name is spelled. The spelling is correct. Matches his government ID. No real reason why it keeps rejecting forcing me to print and mail in my returns. Complete Jip!

Cons: Time consuming

I thought I would save money and do my taxes this year. It wasn't easy to follow along with this software package. Going to try a different one this year.

Great Tool to do your taxes

This is the 10th year using H&R Block Deluxe for doing my Federal and State taxes. It is easy to use, bring in old year numbers, and much assistance is given if needed.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

H&R BLOCK DELUXE 2018 SOFTWARE

I waited until the 14th to file my taxes. The program downloaded quickly and was easy too use. It has help for every line item on the form, and you can talk to an advisor if you have problems. They will even provide support and help you in case of an IRS audit.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
