Need better navigation

when it came time to finalizing my return and ran the checker, it found some details i needed to correct prior to submitting efile. The problem was that when I looked and corrected the mistakes the facts/open category blanks were confusing and I would have rather asked me if I wanted to correct them or send me to the appropriated question and answer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use but every year the product eliminates something and raises the price. A few years ago you got 2 free state filings, last year one, this year none. Time to find another program.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund

I was disappointed that HR Block ignores the new asset class of Crypto Currencies, with no references or directions regarding same.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Problem with e-file for State of Iowa

2nd year in a row, I could not e-file my state (Iowa) because the program says I can't have an "X" in my filing status Married Filing Jointly"

General good flow and ability to skip around. I did have one topic related to a retirement distribution where it points you to the IRS form and leaves it to you to figure out. It would also be nice if the state return included at least one state filing. Sorry, I am not willing to pay the upcharge when postage is less than $1.

H&R Block Deluxe 2018 Software

I originally purchased the NON updated version software from Office Depot. When attempting to update H&R Block on my Mac computer, the software would not update. I attempted numerous fixes and still could not get the update to work. I subsequently downloaded the updated program from the H&R Block website and then discovered that the State download would not update. I was so disgusted and disgruntled (l am sugar coating how upset l was) that l went to the state website and completed my state taxes. I have used H&R Block for numerous years and am not using your product again!
