This software failed terribly to guide me to make Federal payment for my tax was due after I give my credit card information
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good for beginners

I am a novice at tax returns. I like the way this took me step by step. It anticipated common questions and had explanations ready. It prompted me how to answer a few questions I had no clue how to respond. That being said I had frustration when i wanted to back
It took me back to far and I had to go page by page again. And some items I put in the search bar kust weren't there.

Not as good as in past years for handling K-1s

The software did not include and did not handle new forms that needed data from K-1s Examples are 965, 965A and 8990. Also, some forms such as 926 should be included so that they can be manually completed and then printed with the return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

This is my second year using Block software. It is easier to understand than the other brand I used previously. Easy instructions.

I got my return done quickly on the 15th. Fast and easy and accepted by IRS. Used H&R for years.

I've had my e-file return rejected for 3 years in a row because the IRS says the AGI doesn't match. I have gotten the AGI from the transcript on the IRS site and they still say it doesn't match. Why doesn't this work?
