CREATED HUGE 2019 PROBLEM

This Tax Program is still running in your system. It has applied the New York estimated tax scheduled amounts for 2018 to my 2019 NY Tax account and Fidelity paid the first 2019 quarter. NOT ACCEPTABLE !!!. I had to manually delete all that were left. Three, one of which was in 2021.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible, Confusing Software

This is the second year I’ve used H&R Block and both times I’ve been really disappointed. The interface is confusing. The questions are not thorough enough, so the right refund or payment isn’t properly calculated. When there are errors, they are very hard to correct. Frequent upselling going on also.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good overall but Fed return kept getting rejected

This year, we tried to e-file and kept getting our federal return rejected because the AGI didn't match. Figured out that it's probably because we filed after the April 15 deadline and there was a miscommunication between H&R Block and the IRS about which year this was for. Too bad it's not possible to report a possible software bug like this to H&R Block.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I've been using this software for a long time - from the start when it was called TaxCut.
It is very easy to use and provides great support if needed.

Help with One Item

Just one year, I would like the Married Filing Jointly compared to Single filing to work correctly. Everything I entered asked to whom it belonged and yet everything but one item comes out on spouse's in come. worst year yet for this one.

I have used H&R Block for over 10 years, it provides excellent continuity year after year with complex returns.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!
