Horrible! So far I am very disappointed in this software. Nothing but problems
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

I have used H & R Block to file my federal tax return for a number of years. It is easy to do and inexpensive. If you have to do your income tax each year, and most of us do, this is the way to go.

Great product! Navigation is a breeze set up also. The only issue is price. In these economic times for the average person with somewhat limited income. This could be 5-10% lower.

The program acquisition code provided in my notification eM never worked so I ended up paying to eFile my returns after I paid to purchase the download.
The advertisements and PR lead me to believe that H&R Block acquired TaxAct which was the program I have used over the years.
The program wasn't any better than TaxAct or any other tax program and ended up costing me more. I won't go back to H&R Block

Great product. One little glitch. I like to file early. The minimum distribution questions were not finished with the latest updates and the next one was later in February. I had none and put in zero. Filed it. Hope it works.

I have used Tax Cut for the last 15 or 16 years, since it came out. It's easy to use and I love that it brings in the tax info from the previous year automatically. No more re-entering. When I don't understand something, the info section for each field has really good explanations.
Pros: Easy to prepare
