Federal was great as usual. There was an error in the New Mexico tax software so I just used the New Mexico state software which is available online.

Poor code makes incorrect assumptions about blocks

I have used this product for years. There were new blocks this year that i could not get correct without overriding. This would prevent efile. That made me very upset. The first was main home in US for half year. It was unchecked and software never asked me. The software did check it for my dependent, i also could not check dependent as student. I had to skip import of last year taxes to get asked about US residency. And student status of dependent not fixable.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

the site is hard to follow. especially when you are trying to finish an e-file, save and print. I will be going back to turbo tax which is much more user friendly.

Much more difficult to use than in the past. Felt "Klunkly" - not elegant. Tries to take over your tax return instead of simply helping you do it yourself. If you know what you are doing, this is not the program for you, imo. If you haven't got a clue, it actually may be just what you want. It will try to do it all for you.
Cons: Time consuming
