I have been working with this software for a many years. It’s been pretty good. But it has become more and more difficult to read the screen pages. When one needs to impute critical data’s, ability to actually impute the figures is onerous. If the cells could just be programmed to be larger. One could actually see what one is imputing. So little of the screen is actually utilized efficiently. I don’t know if this useful to H&R. ; but larger impute cells could make the program user friendly to see what one is imputing.
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

Powerful Tax Software

I have been using H&R Block Deluxe Tax Software for many years and once again am very pleased with the ease of use and the amount of effort required to complete my federal and state tax returns. The ability to import tax documents from employers and brokers is a real time saver.

My Federal Return keep being rejected by IRS with Rejection Code: FD-32-IND-032-04 . Problem: Your spouse's prior-year Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) or prior-year PIN doesn't match IRS records. I double check everything is correct except only me has IP-PIN. I am requesting IP-PIN for my wife. I hope we get it before April 13 2026.

QBI prior loss carryover issue

The software was easy to use; however, AI Help and other help was not always useful or available. Specifically, for a carryover of QBI prior year loss for a business. This meant I had to print a separate form to report the carryover and in turn, print my Federal Return (two times) once for the Feds and once for my State return. I would have preferred to file electronically.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
