Awaiting credit for duplicate charge for State filing. I think it should be more transparent that when you purchase the Deluxe plus State, that there is additional filing fee for State. I was prepared b/c I have used this software many times. Like that it is easy to import previous year's data.

this year I had some problems with the investment income it didn't seem to want to take the robin hood numbers otherwise it was a pretty easy to use this year and ⅘except for a few exceptions it could not resolve which didn't seem to make any difference it went smoothly and the]- refund it generated was received quickly.

2025 Federal and State Deluxe

The HRblock Federal and Ohio state software ran fine, way easy to navigate. I have used the Deluxe version for many years. The issue you need to work on is installation. Both Federal and state had to be down loaded from one of you internet sites. From within the initial software install files the "main" download failed and one had to go the the internet site download the "main package" and install.

I've been using this software since 2016 and I find it very easy and helpful. My only suggestion is, if you know you want to take the standard deduction, you should be able to indicate that and have the software skip over all the questions you don't have to answer. Or you could state, "If you are taking the standard deduction, skip to section ...". I'm afraid to try to do that myself for fear I'll accidently skip something important.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
