The software itself is easy to use to determine your taxes. However state software glitched at submission (forced me to do an update) and apparently charged me twice for a single submission. Not happy with HR Block.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had a bad experience first time ever. I assume it is because of the AI that you are using. You e Filed my Federal but not my Maryland. For what reason I'm not sure. something to do with taxes being already taken out in my Maryland taxes. I assume this again was an Ai problem

There is no middle range between basic and delux, As a senior there should be a program that allows you to fille quickly, especially if there are no complicated deductions. Also, the program said there were no errors, I filed and three times the fed return was rejected. It was a struggle to find just where on the state return the box regarding 'insured' thru the year was located. Finally, it should not cost money to file a state return in a state that allows me to file for free.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using this software for at least a decade; I always find it easy, straightforward and accurate. I have tried the major competition and some other lesser knowns, but come back to Block. My taxes are simple and pretty straightforward so I could probably use the the other guy with no problem. I am comfortable with the interface and how the everything meshes together. I like the features and won't change.
