It was so easy to use H&R Block Deluxe. It was extremely easy to use the software and it walked me through very slowly so I was able to understand and follow. The thing I believe needs changing is how you enter the PIN. The box to check so you can enter the PIN is buried in several other unrelated items. I submitted my return and it was rejected. I was then able to search closely to find the option to enter the PIN. The return was then easily submitted and accepted.

Hello,
Importing data that includes proceeds from broker and barter exchanges, requires edit of each detail transaction to validate correctness. One issue I find that has been present in past versions and continues in current 2025 software is quite cumbersome to use, and there is room for improvement.
When there are many pages of detail to edit and verify Sale of Stocks and other Assets (1099-B), once an entry has been processed and “Next” is selected, the software revert Sale of Stocks and other Assets (1099-B) back to the beginning of the list, items that have already been edited and finalized. As a user I am forced to mouse the vertical scroll bar or use Page Down key to scroll down in the list to find the next detail item(marked with !) to edit and finalize. My suggestion is to update the code such that when a detail item is edited and finalized with “Next”, return to Sale of Stocks and other Assets (1099-B) with the last item edited at top of the list, and subsequent entries marked with ! will be on current screen display and there will not be a need for customer to constantly scroll the display to go find the next item for edit.

Everything went smoothly but I really HATE some of the verbiage you use. It means nothing to me, and I have to continually look up what things mean. Try using simple English not legalize or if you use legalize put and simple English definition with it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare

compared to turbotax which i have used for many years the program was cumbersome for manual entry directly into selected forms. on investment account it imported only one of three accounts
I liked being able to scan 1099 forms with auto entry of information.
