I have used H&R Block tax software for several years. I find it easy to use. If I run into something I don't understand their explanations clear things up. I used this software when I was working. I used it when I owned rental property and I use it now that I am retired. It is so easy that my great granddaughter used it for the first time with no problem!

I have used H&R Block software now for several years, and find it quite good overall. It is familiar, easy to use, and reliable. My biggest complaint this year is that it could not connect to my brokerage account to download 1099s, leading to tedious manual entry. If that can be corrected, it will be back to being a 5-star program.
