I had a problem Imcould not get an answer for this year. The state return wanted a number I could not find. First time I’ve had a problem like this, and I have been using Block for many years. I ended up having to print and mail my state rather than electronic filing. Not the worst thing but disappointing.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Federal return software was fine - good job! The state return was flawed. There is a bug in the calculations that was present for 2024 and NOT CORRECTED for 2025 - bad job!
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

There is a bug when entering 1099s where a subsequent account name overwrites the first account name.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Been using HR block software for over 10 years. Past 2 years the software is buggy. The software updates don’t work on MacOs running on Apple silicon. Updates all had to be downloaded and installed manually. I’d be happy to be a tester if you’re interested in making your product work. Outside of that I’ll keep using your product. Oh, and installing it the first time also did not work. Had to call your help desk to provide me the State I needed. Hopefully you fix this next year as this has been 2 in a row, sane issue.
