The H&R Block software fails to do a correct tax preparation on may levels as described below.
The W2 form imported from PDF causes error because only the last 4 digits of SSN are shown the W2 form. This error causes a cascade of errors that are not fixable manually and it interferes with filing. It keeps flagging incorrect SSN even though there is no such error.
The program does not handle contributions to 403-b, 457-b, and other such accounts correctly.
The program keeps Social Security benefits form for over 65 age even if the person has zero (0) benefits received. This also causes an error that shows up during filing. This problem cannot be corrected manually.
Overall, H&R Block is awful. You would be better off using other programs.

I have used H & R Block income tax software for a number of years and have been satisfied. Thus far, the IRS has had zero issues with the filings. The largest frustration with the software is the accuracy review checks which indicate "issues" or "data verifications". The "issues" alerts are fine however, the "data verifications" are not useful because when the particular identified form is opened, either the data is correct or the form does NOT accept any changes that MAY be necessary.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No issues at all with the software, have been using it for years. One improvement I would like to see is the ability to dynamically zoom to make text larger like you can do in any browser.
