It has bugs or features that are automatic in other software. examples: supper catchup to 401k for 60-63 is not automatic. you have to know it. Second, not being able to choose multiple options for income
adjustments. or applying bond premium adjustment automatically.

The software is easy to navigate. Tax laws are explained in plain language easy to understand. Simple interview for beginners as well direct form filling for experienced professional makes the software versatile.
Small observation: The 2025 Deluxe + State window software, the Social Security benefit worksheet does sheet does not match with Social Security worksheet given by IRS 1040 instruction (2025).
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
