It was easy and accurate. The information from 1099's was transferred accurately. Information from last year's taxes was transferred automatically. My only complaint is your outrageously high charge for electronic state filing.

Great features, never go bacl to turbotax

First time user, would work with Microsoft 10, took a little time to get used to the format but will never go back to turbotax.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

2025 HR Block Deluxe

Absolutely horrible program charges. Program never would allow me to upload my 2024 return, program locked up numerous times. I will Not be using HR Block again…ever
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Generally very good but it does not automatically calculate the taxable amount of social security if amount contains a lump sum payment from a prior year . Tax Cut software will do this !

With the excellent H&R Deluxe 2025 Software, I was able to complete my federal and state tax returns in a minimal amount of time and get them BOTH accepted. It's a great program and I've been using it for years. I will continue to use it in the future.

The federal part was fine. Colorado was not user friendly regarding US interest. I’m a CFP and am aware that FHLB and other U.S. agencies’ interest is not taxed by Colorado. If I was not aware of this I would have been incorrectly taxed by Colorado. I found a place on the form where I had to insert the amount so it was subtracted from income. The average person would not know this .

Cons: Time consuming
