This program made filing my taxes a quick and painless process. Uploading pdf files of my documents left very little room for human error and made the process go by much faster than I ever could have in trying to fill out all the information manually.

Vague in certain areas

This software assumes the user has a certain degree of knowledge in some areas like how to enter mutual fund foreign taxes paid from your 1099 DIV , insisted that I correct the worksheet by adding what country in box 8. And it was no help with guidance for the correct way to report noncovered mutual fund share sales with various purchase dates when the cost basis information is provided on 1099B. Both of these areas were very gray! Also could not figure out why it wouldn't let me print or file my state taxes, after researching i assumed it was because my federal efile was not accepted yet. Honestly I use this because it is cheap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the 3rd year I have used H&R Block for my annual IRS taxes. It is much easier than Turbo Tax, which I never figured out. Outstanding software and easy to follow!

I have been using another software in past years but Blocks version is much easier and faster to use, I was very pleased.

Easy Accurate Taxes

I taught IncomeTax classes at the college level for over 15years and have always relied on TaxCut for my personal tax returns. E filing is fast and secure making the whole process fast and accurate.
