The Federal return was supposed to be FREE filing...if that is true then you charged me twice for the STATE return, as I have 2 charges on my credit card for the same thing....I'd would give you NO STARS if that was an option! Next year I'll use TURBO TAX!

My first year doing Federal and State taxes online was with another program via dial-up. The next year I used TaxCut. Though the name has changed, why would I change products?

It's very good as usual, but a bit buggy

When I couldn't import my 1099-MISC and had to fill it in manually, I spent nearly an hour debugging it. Instead of putting zeros, tell the customer leave blanks blank. Otherwise the software wants to know form and copy numbers, and kind of freaks out.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Been using taxcut every year since like 1995. Never had an issue, easy to use and never been audited. Suppose that's because the program runs an audit check before it lets you file warning of any issues
