Nothing is perfect. Since fractional ratings are not possible, 4 stars. The instruction are clear, well formatted and mostly excellent. The hints and popups are annoying. The suggestions and items needing correction, at the end of the process, are less clear. Price for the software was good.

Does not flow well. Not intuitive. Purchased Federal and State. State did not install. Had to contact support.
Accuracy check was populating bogus numbers and raising flags. Very confusing. Very wonky. Didn’t trust software anymore. I had to calculate my returns again using TurboTax just to check if it was correct and give me some peace of mind.. Both returns agreed to the dollar. I should not have had to use another tax prep program to verify accuracy. Seriously, considering filing with TurboTax next year.

I have been using HR Block since 2008 and have been satisfied with the ease of use and accuracy of the program. I switched from another tax program and did not have any difficulties using the HR Block program.

Since my money transfer was never received by the IRS last year costing me a fine and penalty, I was very reluctant to use it this year. The process of inputting information is easy and everything went smoothly. Because of last year I opted to send a check to the IRS.

For a number of years I used another tax filling program. For the last 10 years I have been using H&R Deluxe Software. I look forward to using it each year. It is easy to follow. I like the Accuracy Check feature and how it imports data from previous year's return.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
