I would like H&R to actual offer up a “walk-through” of how they calculated certain deductions and gains. I had to go to the Schedule D worksheet, for instance, to understand why the number they used as taxable changed. It would be nice to have an option to walk through how items were calculated (and an option to skip the walkthrough if not wanted).
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

I always use H&R Block tax software without issue. Today, I received an e-mail stating my return could not be electronically filed unless I contacted H&R Block. So, I did call, but not in the best of mood as I am physically sick at this time. The H&R Block rep was helpful, patient and kind. I wish I could say I was the same.
I will continue to use H&R Block because it is the best tax preparation software on the market with kind knowledgeable representatives!

The software did a really good job. When submitting my payment by credit card I received two error messages saying there was a problem with my card. I had entered everything correctly. About 30 minutes after submitting with a different card successfully I checked my mastercard account. There were at least 12 charges already made against my card fraudulently. I immediately cancelled the card. Use caution.
