I have liked the software in the past but this year there was a glitch that cause entry names to change and I had to go back and correct my manual input several times. Ex. If I had three income sources when I added the third one the value and name of my first manual input would change to the third one I just entered so there would be an (incorrect) duplicate entry!
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simple import of previous return. Guidance in program was good enough to lead into some topics that TT did not. Very happy that I listened to 2 if my friends that have used H&R software for several years and recommended.

Overall, I'm very happy with Block tax software, I have been using it for many years. The ONLY issue I have with it is that sometimes when it tries to do an update, I get an error message saying it couldn't connect and I had to download the update package and run it myself. No big deal, but with the number of updates throughout the season, it was a bit of a pain.
That notwithstanding, I will continue to use Block tax software....
