I have used this software for at least 10 years, and I continue to be very satisfied with it. New users should take advantage of the very helpful "help" links throughout the interview. Those users with simple taxes should breeze through this easily. Users with taxes that are a bit more advanced should still do fairly well. If you are one of those people with really complicated taxes, I'd still suggest going to a professional, but you might still manage with this software. Highly recommended.

Long time user, A few hiccups with e-filing.

I have used this program since it was called Tax Cut. (Since 2010) This year I had a few hiccups, but it all worked out after a few days. For some reason it wouldn't allow the completed return to e-file to both the Federal and State simultaneously. After a couple days of concern and several attempts, I finally got it to work by summitting the Federal first, then the State. Everything worked out and I already have my Federal refund!!!

Two years ago I had problems with "Brand T" tax software. Problems happen, but their customer support was so poor that I quit that brand, and I won't go back.
So, I started using H&R Block for the 2018 tax year, and I am completely happy with the program. I have had no problems, and easily completed my federal and California forms both years.
