H&R Block Deluxe Software is very easy to use and understandable. I switched to this software / company as they do what they advertise. The refund is higher than others and no other fees will be charged. Don't be duped by other tax firm advertising "free, free, free". Really happy switching to H & R Block!

One Glaring error

Generally very good product, with ease of use. (A product I used previously was exhaustively laborious.)
The glaring omission is that we need a printout of a standard 1040. This is useful for later access to data AND THE RELEVANT BOX NUMBERS.

Selling something as state + federal should not require a separate purchase to file. This is just double dipping. Also, don't make the mistake of trying to get a head start by using their online version , the software completely refused to communicate with the internet version and I had to redo all of the work.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Was forced by the software to wait 3-4 weeks to file because H&R Block was missing some stupid form for Child deductions. Meanwhile my friends (with kids) were able to file with preparer or TurboTax. Will not use again
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
