I enjoy using this software because it makes it easy to import from year to year and is generally easy to understand. I did have a problem this year with the royalties and rental section because it wasn't clear to me when they asked for mortgage interest information that it was only for rental housing. Other than that I have a very easy time using the software.

I have been using H&R Block Deluxe software for many years and have never been disappointed. When I didn't understand something, the help section was very helpful and beyond that if I needed help, I went to their local office and they were more than happy to give me assistance. I highly recommend it.

This year's (2019) TaxCut software by H&R Block is not what we had in previous 15 years. There were a number of problems with the software (on PC/Win), e.g., problems with updates, issues with printing, lack of support for resolving inconsistencies. I've used H&RB for over 15 years now, but I'm afraid I can't recommend the 2019 version due to poor quality of the software release.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
